A Korean acne treatment applied directly to active spots, combining anti-inflammatory and antibacterial ingredients to help calm redness and inflammation associated with breakouts.
Inflamed spot care – Dong-A specifically recommends Acnon for inflammatory acne, including red, swollen or visibly inflamed blemishes.
3% Ibuprofen Piconol – An anti-inflammatory active that helps reduce inflammation while also inhibiting lipase production by acne-associated bacteria.
1% Isopropyl Methylphenol – Provides antibacterial action and helps inhibit the growth of acne-associated bacteria.
Targeted application – The cream is applied directly to individual spots rather than used as an all-over everyday face cream.
Face & body use – Dong-A states that it can also be applied to acne on areas such as the back and chest.
Part of Dong-A’s acne range – Acnon targets inflammatory spots, while the brand recommends its 2% Salicylic Acid Aclean Gel for non-inflammatory acne such as clogged bumps, whiteheads and blackheads.
